I got married. I look at pictures of our wedding and realize a few things. We were really young, not too young to get married or anything like that – just young. We had no idea what it would take to be a couple, to be married. Nobody really understands that until you’re in it.
We had no idea what life would bring us, and what God would carry us through. We were clueless about how things would really be, about the struggles and joys we would experience. I see these things when I look at those people in that picture. I see the faces of two people right on the verge of getting to know each other. Those people couldn’t even begin to realize how much they’d really learn about each other – good and bad.
I see that picture and I see my past, present and my future. I don’t know what the future will bring but I know that I wouldn’t want to share that future with anyone but that smiling brown eyed girl.
