You covered a lot here, so I'm not sure where to start! :-) First of all, let me say that I think you and I have a LOT in common. I am SO with you on McDonald's--I LOVE it. Give me a double cheeseburger and fries, and I am one happy girl. (Add a chocolate shake to that, and I am a happy girl who shouldn't eat again for a week...) Second, it's amazing what total strangers will say, isn't it? I... have several other thoughts running through my head about that, but I think I will just leave it at that. And third, I'm assuming those two men had kids with them, since they were in the Playland...? That's so sad--whether they had kids or not, of course. But just the whole picture of two men going to McDonald's to take their kids out for a treat, and then having such personal and heart-breaking things to discuss in the midst of it...
